The opening track is an Intro with tips on how to use these exercises. The first 11 tracks are for female singers, while tracks 12-21 are designed for a man’s vocal range. Each exercise begins with an example sung by a singer; the exercise follows immediately after, allowing the singer to join in when he or she is ready. Designed for a full 30 minute work-out, it is also a great tool for warming up before a performance.

The lip roll on a one octave arpeggio. This is a range stretching exercise. Remember not to strain and to gently approach the high notes. Wa - on an octave arpeggio. Great for working out the head voice.

Go - The next three “G” exercise are primarily designed to work out the chest and mid range.

Gug - remember not to strain. Goo - use a lot of G and make a nice round oo sound.
Nay, Na, Noo - three in a row, you must use good breath support to sing all three on one breath. Concentrate on a consistent even sound between all three.
Muh, Buh -sing these two exercises in a row with a "dopey" sound or relaxed jaw. Don’t strain as you move higher in the chest voice register.

Ugh - Don’t “sing” this one so much, just “speak” it on the note. This is a great exercise for working up into the middle register.

Na - 2 octave arpeggio. This exercise is for lengthening the range. Strive to sound like one voice from the bottom to the top of your register. Don’t strain as you move from chest, to middle to head voice. The goal is to create one beautiful seamless sound. Follow Link and Read Full Story On our Official Website:

star This track is an intro to the work-out. It includes instructions on how to use the 27 lessons. Tracks 2-14 are for women and boys whose voices have not changed and tracks 15-27 are designed for men. Remember to never strain. These exercises correlate with the Top 10 Vocal Problems and How to Solve Them Teaching Tracks. It is designed to be used not as a go straight through warm-up, but as a work-out to retrain your voice and correct specific vocal problems.

This exercise uses a funny phrase to help the singer make a connection between their singing and speaking voice and thereby gain power. Try to speak this octave pattern and don’t flip to head voice or resort to shouting.

This exercise is called the stutter technique. It will help you connect to the chest voice and gain power and a rich tone on the lowest notes. Keep a very dopey, "caveman” kind of sound. Follow Link and Read Full Story On our Official Website:

The next two exercises gug and goog are perfect for extending the chest voice higher. Once again don’t strain. You need to keep the larynx low so a dopey sound is vital.

This is an octave arpeggio exercise like the previous one. Don’t flip to head voice! Remember these exercises are range specific. Stay in you chest voice if possible. If you find your self shouting to get the note or straining, lower the jaw; make a “dopier” and softer sound.

Here is the lip roll or tongue trill for extending the range. Sing the high notes gently and quietly – do not try to push or squeeze them out. In fact you should stop when even the slightest strain appears. Just come back in when the exercise moves back down to a comfortable spot. This exercise is great for smoothing out the ‘breaks’’ in your voice as well.

Ow - one of my favorite sounds for finding and working on the mixed or middle voice. Wish I could patent it. It works every time!! The trick is to SPEAK it, not sing it.

Another great sound for connecting to the middle voice. Say meow like a cat. May sound silly – but the notes you gain will be worth. You are trying to sound like a cat. Not to sing Meow. Don’t pull up the chest voice – just gently speak the notes through the break.

The next two exercises are for finding and working out the HEAD Voice. These are great range extenders, just singing lightly - no straining!

Try to make a small but "squeeze" or "strain-free" sound on the notes. This is an octave arpeggio. Stop and wait for the notes to come back to a more comfortable spot if the exercise goes higher than you can sing without straining. Trying to speak the note works as well for the head voice as it does for the mid-range.

Stay tough but don’t shout. This exercise is for the chest voice only. The goal is to sing through he exercises without flipping to head voice.

Ugh on an octave arpeggio. This is a chest voice exercise as well. Lower the jaw and keep that "dopey” sound to avoid tension in the neck or jaw.

Vibrato, straight- tone and a combination. This exercise lets you explore and gain control of your voice as you sing with vibrato and straight tone. This 1-2-3-4-5 exercise stays on one note.

You choose! This is an octave arpeggio for you. Sing from the bottom to the top of your range using your favorite Middle Voice Method exercise.
